About Communities at UMNG

The University Marien Ngouabi has two major interdependent communities that interact daily, sharing the same campus to produce Congo’s elites: students and university staff

Both are organized into associations, societies and unions and receive support from various education authorities or the Ministry of Tertiary Education (MTE) to carry out activities that impact their communities.

Students notably benefit from scholarships provided by the MTE. Housing infrastructure is also provided to students by the MES and two cafeterias have been recently renovated. The rectory makes the campus grounds available to the use of local associations and unions and supports regular cultural and sports activities organized by student organizations.
